SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1 now available


Quick one – For those of you who haven’t heard , you can now download the final version of SP1.

You can get it here. It seems to be one of those services packs with more enhancements behind the scenes, however I did find a nice page with a list of bugs fixed with this service pack. It’s interesting reading , and you can find it here.

In terms of reporting services there are 2 bug fixes listed , namely :

FIX: In a SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services report that contains several levels, some items disappear when you collapse another item

961633  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/961633/ )

FIX: A SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services report is displayed incorrectly in Mozilla Firefox if the report is displayed by using the ReportViewer control

Anyway , I’m planning on installing it today , and I’ll update this post if I find anything interesting post installation.
