Logging feature in SSIS 2008

The built in logging in SSIS is fantastic. However , some of you might have tried to implement this in SSIS 2008 only to find that it doesn’t work. Well there are a couple of things I can tell you. The first is that when you use SQL Server logging and point it to a database, it will create the table as a System Table not a normal one. So go to your database and expand – Tables – System Tables and you should see it there. The second is that the table name has now changed to a more relevant ssislog instead of dtslog90.
